Latitude glow plug issue

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Latitude. Was there any engine misfire or rough idle alongside the glow plug light? Did you observe a hit in fuel efficiency?

Engine seems fine, no misfires and no rough idling. Fuel consumption normal, too. How did you solve it exactly? Did you replace the glow plugs yourself?

Didn't do it myself, actually. The problem was definitely the glow plugs, all four needed replacing. It's a fiddly job. I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. Cost me 440€.
