Mini Roadster Stalling Problem Resolved

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Roadster. Check engine light, rough engine idle, the whole shebang. Did you take a look at the air intake? Is it dirty?

Air intake, huh? I haven't checked that yet. What exactly am I looking for? I mean, how dirty is dirty?

Yeah, mine was caked in grime. A slightly dirty air filter can escalate to heavily contaminated intake. If it's bad enough, it'll gunk up the IAC valve and cause engine stalling. If you are not sure, better take it to the workshop.

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Turns out you were right on the money. The air intake was heavily contaminated, impacting the IAC valve. Had to take it to the shop; cost me 425€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the help.
