Seat Arosa electrical issues
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Seat Arosa with a gasoline engine is experiencing sporadic errors in driving mode, intermittent error lamps, and failures in systems like audio/navigation. The issue is suspected to be a defective cable connection related to the control unit and BUS system. A similar case confirmed a communication issue with the control unit due to a defective cable connection, suggesting a visit to a qualified workshop for diagnosis and repair. The problem was resolved with a repair costing 155€.

Indeed, the error memory was populated. Could you be more specific regarding the nature of the error and the eventual repair?

I drive an Arosa as well. I had similar symptoms; sporadic warning signal, malfunction indicator lighting up, and the radio would cut out. Have you checked the error memory via OBD-II?
