Seat Cordoba electrical issues

Hoping someone can help. I've got a 2001 Seat Cordoba with a diesel engine, and it's been acting up lately. Getting sporadic errors while driving, or sometimes just random warning lights. Seems like the audio/navigation stuff is mostly affected, but sometimes control units just shut down for a bit. I've scanned it and there are errors stored.

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light kept coming on, and the radio would cut out randomly. A scan tool showed multiple system failures. Have you tried using a scan tool to pull the error codes?

Yeah, I used a scan tool and there were a few errors stored. What was the problem with your Astra?

Turns out, it was a defective connection to the BUS system. The error sounds very similar to what you’re experiencing. I would recommend taking it to a workshop.

Took it to the shop, and you were right. It was a faulty cable connection to the BUS system. They fixed it for 155€. Thanks for the help!
