Hey! Appreciate your insights. Yes, indeed a hefty amount but I believe safety is top-notch priority, isn't it? I haven't made any modifications or repairs to it since the last service, which happened around the 65762 KM mark. Nothing fancy, just the routine maintenance deal. Fingers crossed, I hope I would not end up having to replace the control unit, still, I wouldn't hesitate if it improves the car's health, you know. Let's see how it unravels. Cheers!

Howdy! Definitely agree with you there - safety should always be the top priority! It's somewhat relieving to hear that there haven't been any recent changes because that rules out the possibility of a complicated modification/repair having triggered something. Given your mileage and normal servicing pattern, it's quite possible that wear and tear is at play here. But hey, let's hope it's just your suspicion with the sensor. Even if it is the control unit, it's really a worthy investment considering the importance of ABS/DSC systems, especially during slippery conditions. Either way, get that professional analysis done and we'll work it out together! Remember, cars are like puzzles sometimes, and figuring them out is half the fun! Keep us posted, and safe driving! Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for that silver-lining. Putting safety first and seeing this as a puzzle to tackle definitely reframes the whole situation for me. I'm taking her in to the garage first thing tomorrow and I'll keep you posted on the progress. Fingers crossed it's just some wear and tear and not the control unit. Let's see how this mystery unravels, shall we? Cheers and let the adventure begin! Safe driving to you too! Catch you later.

Hey there, So, I've had some experience with a similar issue although I'd say I have low car knowledge and experience. Had this problem with my 2007 Hyundai Elantra a while back. Got the lights and everything. Ended up being an issue with the ABS/DSC control unit actually being defective. Took it to my local workshop and after some thorough testing, they pinpointed the issue. I ended up having to shell out around 1000€ to have it completely fixed, pretty hefty sum right? Just a quick one, could you tell me if you've had any recent repairs or modifications? That might help me help you in troubleshooting this. Look forward to hearing back from you. Cheers!
