Skoda Citigo Misfire Issue

I'm wrestling with a misfire issue on my 2011 Skoda Citigo with a gasoline engine. Mileage is sitting at 243407 km. Engine's running rough, check engine light is on, and it jerks when accelerating plus a noticeable loss of power. Suspecting an injection valve problem. Anyone experienced similar?

Combustion misfire on a Citigo? I had a similar issue on mine. Rough idle, check engine light, the works. Did you check the fuel pump? How about the ignition coils? Those were the first things I looked at.

When you had the issue on your Citigo, were the symptoms identical? And did you also experience jerking and a significant loss of power when accelerating?

Symptoms sound pretty close to what I had. I was leaning towards ignition issues, but it ended up being a faulty injector. If you have the same symptoms, I'd advise that you go to the workshop and have them diagnose it properly, unless you're really sure.

Took the Citigo to a trusted mechanic. It was indeed a faulty injector, as suspected. All sorted now for 515€. Runs like a charm. Thanks for the input!
