Skoda Kamiq Combustion Misfires
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Kamiq with a gasoline engine and nearly 160,000 km was experiencing combustion misfires, rough engine performance, a check engine light, jerking during acceleration, and noticeable power loss. The spark plugs were checked and found to be in good condition, leading to the suspicion of an injection valve issue. After further investigation, it was confirmed that a faulty injector was the cause, and replacing it resolved the problem, restoring smooth engine operation.

Spark plugs looked fine. What was the solution for your Astra?

Turned out to be a defective fuel injector. The symptoms were identical: combustion misfire and engine misfiring. If you suspect the injector, it's probably best to get it diagnosed properly at a workshop.

Thanks for the input. It ended up being a faulty injector. I replaced it, and the Kamiq is running smoothly again. Total cost was 515€.

Sounds frustrating. I had a similar experience with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light, rough idle, the whole shebang. Was it just the spark plugs that you checked?
