Tire Pressure Warning Light Issue

Thanks! Tires are about 3 years old, so not brand new but not ancient either. When you say sensor fault, do you mean the sensor itself is broken, or is it something else? Is it possible to check the sensor without special tools?

Yeah, by sensor fault, I mean the little battery inside the sensor itself probably died. They usually last 5-7 years. You'd need a special tool to properly diagnose it yourself, unfortunately. If the error's stored, and the pressure seems okay, best bet is to get it checked at a workshop. They can read the TPMS data and pinpoint which sensor is causing the TPMS issue.

Big thanks for the help! Just got my Ibiza back from the shop. Turns out it was indeed a faulty sensor. Replaced all four while they were at it – cost me around 280€. Peace of mind knowing it's sorted! Lesson learned: don't ignore those TPMS warnings!

Sounds like a TPMS issue. I had something similar with my Ibiza – kept getting low tire warnings even though the pressure gauge read fine. The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) uses sensors in the air valve of each tire to measure pressure. Could be a sensor fault. The error message in the speedometer is a classic symptom. How old are your tires?
