The mechanic actually said that the emergency battery of the emergency call system was completely discharged. Was no small problem as the emergency battery is pretty important. Hey, of course I remember! My mechanic charged me around €110 to repair the emergency call system, i.e. to replace the emergency battery and recalibrate everything. Everything worked perfectly afterwards and I haven't had any more problems with the emergency battery since. It was expensive fun, but in the end it was worth it and driving safety has definitely improved. And you know, safety first, right? So don't worry, after the fix your C1 should be running like new again!
