Hey guys, I've got a problem with my 2014 petrol BMW 4 Series. The car is behaving really strangely - engine light comes on, engine just cuts out, doesn't really pick up the throttle, runs erratically, pulls when accelerating and consumes a lot of fuel. I think it could be the throttle valve, but I'm not sure. Do any of you have experience with this kind of problem and could give me a tip on what I should have checked at the garage? After replacing and re-learning the battery, all these faults disappeared. So if several such errors occur in combination: Throttle potentiometer, accelerator pedal values etc, then it really is worth checking the battery first.
